The Adult Social Care Business Intelligence Team are active participants in delivering this analytic vision.


The Adult Social Care Directorate in Surrey is forward-looking with a strong focus on innovation to deliver improvements to the health and wellbeing of our county's population.

The successful applicant will be part of the Business Intelligence Team whichprovides intelligence to inform Social Care and system partners in addressing local health needs and reducing health inequalities, regularly collaborating with a wide variety of analytic partners to deliver joint intelligence.

Our Business Intelligence Managers project manage performance reporting to government departments such as NHS Digital, regulators, auditors, and inspection bodies such as the Care Quality Commission.


About the role


We are looking for someone to lead the Assurance work within our Business Intelligence function, preparing the directorate for inspection, driving a strong culture of information assurance, governance, and transparency across Surrey Adult Social Care.


The successful applicant is someone:
- with Adult Social Care performance management experience and expertise,
- with experience of working with data across a range of platforms, using dashboard tools; in particular FME and Tableau
- is responsible for the delivery of timely and accurate statutory returns
- qualified to degree level (or able to demonstrate equivalent qualification through experience), you must also have relevant experience of building partnerships and working collaboratively with others.
- who is comfortable working with and engaging a range of partners

  • Is excited by data and forming key relationships with intelligence and statistics experts within the county's analytic community, you will be able to present the highest possible quality evidence base.

This role can be based at our Woodhatch office in Reigateor our Quadrant Court office in Woking
- expected to travel across the County for business.
