Product Data Specialist

City Electrical Factors [CEF] are the UK's leading multi-channel electrical wholesaler with 390 stores across the UK and have an exciting opportunity for a Product Data Specialist to join their publications team.

This permanent, full-time position is well suited to an individual with strong product knowledge who has a keen eye for detail and an excellent ability to work with internal teams within a collaborative workplace.

As part of the publications team, you will be assisting in the production of CEF's Trade Catalogue, which is released three times a year, alongside other customer-facing publications.

The position is office based in Meadowfield Industrial Estate, just 10 minutes from Durham City centre, at CEF's new IT and Marketing building.

• Define catalogue structure, product features, table headings and layout.
• Research product features and technical specifications.
• Enrich product data in STEP [data management system] and ensure that features, images and layout are complete, accurate and consistent.
• Update the master catalogue spreadsheets and discuss additions and deletions with the procurement team.
• Liaise with designers and proof readers to ensure we continue to deliver industry leading publications.

Role requirements:

• Prior experience of working within databases
• Computer literate with solid experience in MS office, particularly Excel
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• A flexible approach to working hours to ensure deadlines are met

The Person

Good attention to detail and an eye for consistency is essential, as is the ability to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams including product data and pricing.
