We're looking for a Data Engineer with an FS background to join a growing ethical investment business to take ownership for their Power BI reporting stack.

Working directly for the Head of Operations and the CTO you'll help the business become more data drivenby linking their data sources with the data warehouse and creating meaningful Power BI dashboards.

What you'll be doing

The client has multiple system databases from which they run Power BI reports and are currently running into data quality/integrity issues.

Due to this, they brought in a consultancy last year to develop an Azure Data Lake setup with Synapse.

We're looking for someone who can continue this work and extend the Data Warehouse data model to support new reporting requirements.

You'll work on the ingestion of new data sources into the Data Lake and then transform this data into Power BI reports dashboardsand insights which are business focused.

As the sole Data Engineer, you'll work alongside the CTO and work to maintain the data dictionary and lineage of the data.

What experience you'll need to apply:

Financial services experience
23 years in a Data Engineering/ Power BI Development position
Azure experience with Synapse and ADF
Experience building and maintaining Azure Data Pipelines
Power BI

What you'll get in return for your experience:

On offer is a salary of up to £65K with a bonus and excellent benefits. the working model is hybrid with the expectation to be in the office 2 days per month.
