Description

Our client, the UK's leading charity protecting women and children against domestic violence, is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Complex Needs Outreach Worker to join their dedicated team in Kingston.


As Complex Needs Outreach Worker, you will provide a high quality personal welfare support service to survivors of domestic violence and other forms of violence and abuse including those at the point of crisis.

You will empower survivors to make decisions,increase their options, their confidence and their safety, and will work within a multi-agency framework to develop referral, joint working and information sharing protocols.

You will ensure that any issues in relation to safeguarding children or vulnerableadults are brought to the immediate attention of the Services Manager, and will ensure that survivors are aware of their rights to legal protection for themselves and their children, arranging the provision of legal advice as required and accompanying womento appointments when appropriate.


Please also note, this post is restricted to women only as a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 paragraph 1, Equality Act 2010.


Please note this role will be to work full Time, 37.5 hours per week, working evenings Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8pm on a rota basis.

Participation in an out of hours on-call rota is a requirement of this role.
