This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Corporate Medical team, which will provide the postholder with a wide and varying experience from some key workstreams that support the Medical Directors broader portfolio.

Administration Support Officers provide vital assistance to Project Support Workers and Managers. They will be highly organised, dynamic professionals. To support a range of projects throughout the Trust.


The post-holder will report into the Assistant Project Manager and be expected to manage various mailboxes, calendars, and events to support the day to day running of the office and the team.

Administrative management to support the following workstreams.

Medical Appraisal & revalidation

Consultant & SAS Job Planning

Medical E-rostering

Consultant Development & management programme

Medical engagement strategy & events

Ad-hoc events and activities

Updating databases Excel use

Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and web-based systems

The post holder will:


Work closely with and provide administrative support to the both the Project Team and Medical Directors Office, working to often strict deadlines.

Maintain an accurate and comprehensive record or Doctors Appraisals via L2P (the trust appraisal software).

Assist with the scheduling of consultant's annual appraisals.

Maintain the Project Management teams paper based and electronic filing systems.


Assisting various work streams for the wider Project Team/Medical Directors Office which will include updating posters and reading material across the Trust as well as printing and preparing training material.

Assisting the Project team with moving items including rearranging rooms for training sessions.

Maintain polite and professional communication at all times.


Maintain Comprehensive and highly accurate electronic filing systems to assist in the smooth running of the Appraisal and revalidation function.

General Administration duties for the Project Management Team.

Contribute to own personal development ensuring statutory and mandatory training is attending.

Effectively use a wide variety or computer programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook etc).

Be able to manage own time and work independently.


Under the guidance of the Project Managers contribute to providing an identifiable, accessible and responsive service to all staff working within the organisation.

The post holder may be required to carry out other relevant duties as required.


The post holder will be familiar with, and adhere to at all times, the policies and procedures of the Trust.

The postholder may be required to carry out other relevant duties as required.
