The Growth Company's (GC) employment business unit has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Partnerships & Solutions to support our Justice Service contracts.


GC is a fast-growing, purpose-based social enterprise and as part of our mission for positive change we deliver services for the Ministry of Justice (MOJ)/ His Majesty's Prison and Probation Services (HMPPS), working with people in prison or people on probation across the North of England.

Our services focus on reducing reoffending by empowering people to develop their strengths and make better choices in life.


In this role, you will work with GC's commissioners, service users, business development team and senior leaders alongside shared services, strategic partners, subcontractors and stakeholders to position and design our justice services.


This is an engaging role requiring service design and influencing skills, as well as strong project management, commercial awareness, and creative thinking.


Agile working options are available for this senior role.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Account Management to include the Probation Service, Governors, local authorities, Combined Authorities, Local Enterprise Partnerships and other key partners.
  • Working with the Business Development team and operational managers, support the development of a pipeline of future opportunities, help positioning GC to win bids.
  • Developing innovative partnerships to compete for new contracts or funding.
  • Overseeing GC growth strategy for Justice.
  • Collaborating with Operational Leaders to help drive contract performance.
  • Lead on the visibility and promotion of GC in the Justice Sector.

About you:


  • Good knowledge of the employability & the justice sector.
  • You are an influencer, highly literate, able to write in concise, persuasive language.
  • Results and outcome driven.
  • Strong time management skills.

Skills Required:


  • Ability to open doors to new partners and promote working in partnership with GC.
  • Knowledge of designing and constructing service delivery models.
  • Can work effectively with internal colleagues and external partners.
  • Strong IT Skills and capabilities with Microsoft packages.
