Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of meal preparation and service.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the culinary industry and wants to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
Help with meal assembly and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
Support catering events as needed

Experience:

Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus
Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures is beneficial
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
