We are looking for an friendly, experienced and highly motivated Head Receptionist for our brand-new purpose built, dental practice with two patient waiting rooms and separate private patient waiting/consultation room.

Previous dental managerial experience is essential for this role. Minimum 2 years.

You will be responsible for managing the reception team and appointment diaries and the day to day running of reception including

  • Creating a positive environment
  • Managing day to day issues at Reception, resolving problems
  • Managing Patient appointments
  • Dealing with any escalated complaints at the desk
  • Managing Dentists & Hygienists diaries, white space
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service at reception
  • Managing the recall system, reminders, FTA's etc
  • Supervising, coaching, leading & developing a high performing reception team
  • Induction and training of reception staff
  • Ensuring patient fees, cashing up, banking is dealt with in line with policies & procedures
  • Ensuring waiting rooms are monitored and well maintained.

You will need to be:

  • Well presented, friendly, trustworthy, reliable, and supportive
  • An excellent communicator
  • Able to have difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise
  • Comfortable conversing with different types of people including clinicians, patients, nurses and your reception team and managers
  • An experienced team leader
  • Proficient in using Software of Excellence
Salary depending on experience.
