Salary:
Grade 5, £37,667 to £41,359 per annum including London Weighting.

Fixed term contract for a year - Part time [0.5 FTE]

The full-time equivalent salary for grade 5 is £18,833 - £20,679 per annum including London Weighting


In partnership with the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation, a very exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly graduated musical director to join us in their next step into professional practice.


You will have the opportunity to be exposed to and embrace a specialist experience of teaching, performing, the development of professional practice and networking within a training environment.


Our staff will be your professional colleagues, with the Course Leader for BA Acting Musical Theatre as your mentor throughout your time with us.


You will be able to enhance our Undergraduate BA Acting Musical Theatre course by developing students to form develop professional relationships and enhancing professional musical theatre skill sets.


You will be able to enhance the student experience for BA Acting Musical Theatre students by supporting the core teaching of musical theatre skills sets as well as providing musical direction for a wide range of performance projects.

  • Understanding in relation to the role and responsibilities required for a Musical Director within professional practice
  • Knowledge of Musical Theatre repertoire
  • Have a degree or equivalent qualification in Music
  • Strong keyboard skills
  • Understanding of sung voice techniques
