Cardiology Admissions SupervisorHours: 37.5 hours per week
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised supervisor to join our busy Cardiology Clinical Measurement Department at PRUH.
You will be responsible for providing an effective service within the Clinical Measurements team, dealing directly with patients in the department and over the phone.

The work involves managing outpatient appointments, dealing with referrals from wards and GP's, together with incoming queries and day-to-day administrative duties.
Familiar with I.T. packages, have a good telephone manner and perform general office duties. You will have a good general education with the equivalent of GCSE's in English and Maths at Grade A-C. A willingness to learn and develop skills will be positively encouraged.You will become part of an enthusiastic team and will play an instrumental part in the smooth running of the department.

To provide effective leadership and support to the administration team, ensuring that all staff are managed in line with Trust policies.
To ensure that all staff are informed of the divisions objectives and performance targets and are aware of the importance of their contribution.
To ensure that all activity is accurately recorded on CRIS and PiMS, including the allocation of patients onto the waiting list, admission and discharge of patients, GP details, admission and discharge of patients, GP details, demographic coding, admission method etc.
To manage and monitor the service waiting lists in line with Trust policy and meeting national and local targets, particularly around waiting times and booked admissions.
To liaise closely and effectively with consultant and senior nursing staff regarding the planning of emergency and elective appointments, making appropriate decisions and communicating these to all necessary parties.
To attend, with the Delivery Manager and Assistant Service Manager, a set of performance indicators that are regularly reported and monitored e.g.
