A school in Thornbury (BS35) are seeking a teaching assistant to support a child with special educational needs in their Year 4 class.

This role is to start in September on a long term basis.

The successful applicant will:

Have a calm, caring and flexible approach
Have previous experience of working in a school (desirable)
Be able to work as part of a team, working closely with the Class Teacher
Have excellent communication skills
Be able to use their initiative to adapt activities to meet the needs of the students
Be selfmotivated
