Are you looking for a new challenge?
We have an exciting vacancy for a Quality Assurance and Training Specialist.

You will be part of the Bristol based team and will be responsible for:


  • Ensuring that healthcare claims and subsequent provider invoices are processed in accordance with best practice and documented procedures through a programme of audits (both internal and external), to maintain and improve service standards across Healix Health Services.
  • Identifying training needs for all departments in Healix Health Services, ensuring the development of all staff.
  • Developing training materials, including utilising the Learning Management System.
  • Contributing to business improvement through the implementation of new working practices and system development.
This role is pivotal to ensuring compliance with service standards, identifying training needs and process improvements where necessary.

Your key activities/duties will cover both Internal and External audits, delivering and administrating training, developing training materials using all resources available such as Litmos.

You will be liaising with all departments to identify training needs for teams and will work with the Head of Quality Assurance and Training to develop and facilitate this.


  • Have a good understanding and previous experience of the private medical insurance industry and claims processing would be an advantage.
  • Have good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Display a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft packages and the ability to effectively manage computer technology, typing and word processing.
  • Have the ability to demonstrate customerled thinking.
  • Have effective time management to be able to multitask, prioritise in order complete varying tasks and deadlines.
  • Be selfmotivated and able to work under pressure.
