Market Analysis Intern

Here's what you'll be doing

What you'll do:

Use your analytical skills to help us gain better understanding of how renewable energy production is impacting on power spot price results
Establish and cleanse a database of historic power production and demand data ready for analysis
Examine the relationships between the various renewable power sources and demand, to determine how they are impacting on power spot prices
Prepare a report detailing the results of their analysis, this will be used to make decisions on future modelling changes for Price Forward Curve

What we need from you

What we ask for:

Current studies towards any level Maths/Stats/Analytical based discipline
Interest in the energy industry
Great communication skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently to set goals and objectives

Here's what you need to know

Flexible working arrangement (anything between 10 and 37 hours a week)
Flexible contract length to fit your studies (with a minimum commitment of 2 months), with flexible start and end date

- £23,000 pro rata salary

Hybrid working model (with a minimum of 40% in our Coventry office)
Guidance and supervision as and when it's needed
To learn about an ever evolving and developing industry
Interviews will begin week commencing 18th March 2024
