Product Owner/Business Analyst

Up to £40,000

Leeds - 99% Remote


If Agile is your thing and you love being at the start of projects and really getting to grips with what it is a client wants, this could be a great opportunity for you.

We're looking for someone to take charge of a hugely busy Jira board, prioritising theworkload and building further stories, features and epics.

It is a brand new role with a web solutions specialist who form part of a rather large group.

They work across that group, building quote and buy websites for the UK insurance industry, this includes tech challenger brands on the InsurTech and FinTech sideand also the ever popular price comparison websites.


As Product Owner, you'll be working alongside 3 Scrum teams of Developers, Client Account Directors and working closely with the Development Manager to map out the build of these sites, allocating work to each Scrum and ensuring client requirements are met.


The role will involve:

  • Translating each client's requirements into formats that can be understood and consumed by the development teams.
  • Translating the requirements into "Agile Scrum" stories, epics and features that can be added into sprints
  • Briefing the development teams in detail on how features "should work"
  • Attending sprint planning and review meetings
  • Prioritising the backlog of Stories to be scheduled into the sprint planning sessions
  • Using Jira to capture and communicate client requirements
We're looking for someone with
_previous experience_ in a similar role and the following skills:

  • Agile
  • Creating stories, epics and features
  • An understanding of the full SDLC
  • Jira
  • Creating documentation for Developers
  • Requirements gathering
  • Client facing experience
*This will be a
_remote role with monthly team meet ups_ in

Interviews are taking place remotely over Microsoft Teams and we will be interviewing this side of Christmas and into the New Year.
