We are looking to recruit additional learning support workers to support the delivery of Adult Learning courses across Blackburn with Darwen.

We are specifically looking for people who have excellent knowledge and sound experience of supporting both accredited and non-accredited adult community learning to learners face to face, and online, including those with additional learning needs.


You will work alongside an adult learning tutor to support learners aged 19+ in a wide range of courses including ESOL, Family Learning, Health and Wellbeing, Emploability and ICT.


You should also have experience of working with a range of adult learners in providing support to both individual learners and to groups.


You will have a good understanding of providing support, as outlined in learning plans/schemes of work, and how to review and monitor support.
