We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Personal Assistant to join our Finance Team Hub

The role


This role is extremely varied and requires someone who is professional and discreet, a PA who understands that no two days are the same, and that plans can change at a moment's notice.


You will be someone who can adapt and plan, and always be one step ahead, putting it simply; you will know what your Business Leader is doing before they do It goes without saying that you will be highly organised, assertive and be a proud ambassador for the Phoenix Group.


Key responsibilities:


  • Provide a highly efficient, reliable and fully proactive PA service to the Business Leader's to support their business effectiveness
  • Working with highly confidential and sensitive material and maintaining professionalism at all times
  • Being able to be adapt and shift approach to a range of business processes and stakeholders
  • Being able to deal with multiple tasks and issues simultaneously
  • Proactively identify and highlight issues for the Business Leader's to action to ensure appropriate prioritisation is made and deadlines are met
  • Produce or collate written documentation, communications etc. as required, to a high standard of accuracy and quality
  • Coordinate centralised processes such as travel bookings, expense claims etc.
  • To provide cover and adhoc support

What are we looking for?

  • Proven work experience as a highlevel Personal Assistant
  • Familiar with Diligent Board Books or similar
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and build effective relationships with all stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to provide information reporting at a high standard
  • Excellent work ethic and a willingness to take the initiative and ownership to see things through to completion
  • Proactive and exceptional time management skills in order to effectively prioritise workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a fastpaced environment
  • Personal strength, resilience and a 'can do' philosophy will be essential for success
  • Confident MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint user with the ability to manage and prioritise a range of outstanding scheduling requirements
