Description
We are looking to recruit a Conservation Ranger to work on our Lincoln contract, based at Hartsholme Country Park.

Applicants must hold a horticultural or conservation qualification and have the ability to drive up to 3.5t vehicles.

Experience of leading voluntary groups and others in practical site maintenance and conservation tasks advantageous.

Experience of using a range of Microsoft packages over and above Word and Excel to produce work independently.

Enforcement experience.

Experience of work with a range professional organisations

Group presentational skills.

Experience of ordering and managing supplies to achieve value for money

Experience of cash handling and use of electric point of sale devices.

Current First Aid Certificate

NVQ related to Customer Care

Broad knowledge of heathland habitats and species.

Work programming experience

Experience of biological recording.

Experience of practical conservation work in heathland habitats.

Knowledge and awareness of safeguarding procedures within the workplace.

IOSH Safety Training.
