We are looking to add an Index Rebalance Trader to our Index Trading team.

As a member of our team, you will partner closely with our Index Researchers, Quant Developers, and Portfolio Managers, who are responsible for discretionary and semi-systematic strategies around Index Rebalancing events.

As a collaborative organization, our Index Rebalance Traders work closely with Quantitative Researchers to leverage our world-class research platform to improve both discretionary and systematic strategies.

This is an opportunity for you to leverage and develop a broad range of skills including quantitative research, portfolio construction, risk management and execution.

Overview of Position:


  • Bookrunning a discretionary portfolio. This includes daily monitoring, trading, maintenance, and hedging a portfolio to maintain target position.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and quantitative researchers to structure and evaluate new trading opportunities
  • Leverage internal data and research tools as well as external research and relationships to identify trading opportunities
  • Research and implement new trading strategies

Responsibilities:


  • Trade an index rebalancing book, integrating internal/external index research predictions, as well as index announcements data
  • Monitor news, events, market changes which can impact the portfolio and advise Senior Portfolio Manager on necessary adjustments
  • Analyze portfolio performance and risk
  • Conduct some research to identify new trading opportunities

Qualifications:


  • 27 years of relevant industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field, advanced degree preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teammates globally
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment
  • Programming skills (Python, Q/kdb) preferred
