Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Compliance Executive to join our team in Edinburgh.

We need an experienced individual to support the team in continuing to grow our market share while protecting our reputation and brand.

This new role will work closely with the Legal and Risk team as well as the wider business, enhancing team knowledge and refining compliance processes and policies.

Your tasks:


  • Assist the Marketing Compliance Manager to ensure Gambling Commission license conditions applicable to Marketing are adhered to.
  • Conduct thorough compliance checks on marketing communications across all channels including direct mail, paid/organic social, out of home, TV and radio advertising.
  • Periodic reviews and audits of social media channels and our website to ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations, providing valuable feedback and recommendations to the Marketing Compliance Manager.
  • Supporting the Marketing Compliance Manager in the enhancement of policies, procedures, and controls related to Gambling regulation rules and review processes.
  • Liaising with various stakeholders at all levels to provide marketing compliance guidance and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Provide secondary support on the Digital Asset Management System including helping ensure assets have correct consents.

Your qualities:


  • You're a team player with an enthusiastic, proactive attitude with the ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • You have experience in a similar regulated marketing compliance role; ideally gambling or financial services sectors.
  • You have a good understanding of the ASA, CAP & BCAP advertising codes, and it would be desirable to have an awareness of the Gambling Commission regulations (LCCP)
  • You're an excellent communicator, both verbally and written
  • You possess strong attention to detail.
  • You're well organised with good time management skills, and you have relevant experience of using processes to manage workloads.
  • You have strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at varying levels of seniority.
  • You're computer literate and confident using Microsoft office tools, mainly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
