Are you an enthusiastic ACP with experience in Stroke care? or have an aspiration to become one?
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells is proud to be one of the best performing Stroke Services in Kent and Medway,.

The role of the trainee ACP involves a programme of academic and workplace-based education.

The post-holder will be expected and supported to complete an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice at one of our partner universities combined with the HEE ACP in Acute Medicine Framework.


Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Acute Stroke unit are looking for ACP / Trainee ACP's to provide high quality Specialist care to Stroke Patients, the role will be supported by a team Stroke Consultants, and ACP and team of qualified / senior ACP's.


You will work across the Stroke Pathway delivering clinical support to patients attending via direct admission through our Stroke Assessment bay, and during the acute and rehabilitation phase of their recovery.

The post of Stroke ACP will improve flow through the Stroke unit.


If you are currently working at an advanced level of practice within Stroke we would offer this post as a Trainee ACP to support a Level 7 Masters in Advanced practice (3-year programme) the post will be offered as a band 7.

If the successful applicant has already acquired the ACP qualifications and working within the four pillars of advance practice with evidence of proven clinical practice within Stroke the post will be banded at 8a.
