ABOUT THE ROLE:


Our client Tracto Technik UK Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Workshop Fitter to work within their busy workshop in Bedford.

You will also be responsible for pre delivery inspections, machine overhauls and rebuilds.

This role is a fantastic opportunityjoin a globally recognised company that offer excellent training and development opportunities whilst working on industry leading machinery and equipment including the GRUNDOMAT, GRUNDOWINCH, GRUNDOBURST, GRUNDOPIT & GRUNDODRILL.


You should demonstrate a hardworking, can do approach, along with lots of self-motivation and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

If you have experience of a busy workshop, and have served time as a Fitter then we want to hear from you


Location:
Bedford


Salary:
Salary negotiable and will reflect experience and qualifications

Base Salary up to £21'500 pa plus monthly commission upon completion of probation period.


Hours: 39 per week


KEY SKILLS:


  • Experienced and qualified of working with relevant mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Welding and mechanical fitting experience would be advantageous
  • Hold a recognised, engineering apprenticeship or similar qualification
  • Able to work as part of a Team, supporting colleagues working to the production schedule
  • Flexible and selfmotivated, able to embrace new training opportunities, which may on occasion require staying away from home
  • Completing jobs and related workshop administration.
  • Adhering to health and safety rules and legislation.
  • Able to work in a small team and use own initiative
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Hold a full UK drivers licence
