Job description
Position:
Payroll Assistant (Full-Time)
Holiday:
Statutory Holiday Entitlement (5.6 weeks' paid holiday) 20 days + 8 days bank holidays
Role Description:
To assist the payroll manager and payroll team in all payroll tasks, including tracking hours worked for all employees, scheduling staff, enter payroll data into digital systems to keep all payroll files up to date, and processing and dispensing employee payslips and P60s
Experience:
Ideally experienced in using Sage Payroll and Strong MS Outlook, Excel and Word skills are essential, experience of HR administration is desirable although not essential.

Education/Qualification:
- Good standard of formal education (A level preferred)
- Above average literacy and numeracy
- CIPD or equivalent HR qualification desirable
- AAT or Part II CIMA/CACA/CA desirable
- Good communication skills
- Able to deal successfully with all types, at all levels
- Effective interpersonal/management skills
- Above average critical thinking ability
- Computer literate, preferably with knowledge of accounting IT systems
- Sound knowledge of accounting basics and pensions desirable
Salary:
From £20,000.00 per year
