Groups, Organisations and Schools)
If you have a passion for community fundraising and engaging supporters, this is a brilliant opportunity to work with individual supporter, groups, organisations and schools to raise funds for RNIB.
What you'll be doing
The purpose of the role is to increase the amount of income and
engagement generated by RNIB's community and supporter-led
fundraising activity. This role will focus in particular on fundraising from individual supporters, groups, organisations and schools.
The role is critical to improving the performance of our existing In Aid Of products, delivering outstanding and innovative supporter care; developing and managing new insight-led In Aid Of products, raising our profile and brand awareness, and ultimately raise more money to ensure the RNIB can reach and support more people affected by sight loss.
What you'll need to succeed in this role
You'll need management experience as the role will see you manage 1 x Co-ordinator.
Experience working with key stakeholder internally and externally, managing responsibilities, project groups, various internal colleagues and teams, and external partners and suppliers.
You will be responsible for creating committed and long-term supporters (increasing average gift) for RNIB that go onto to do more for the organisation whether that bevolunteering, further events or signing up for a regular gift or similar.
The role will also see you contribute to the achievement of income budgets for Community Fundraising (overall Community Fundraising budget of circa £600,000) with ambition to raise more over the next 5 years.
This role can be worked full remote or on a hybrid basis (requirement to attend our London office based near Kings Cross if on a London contract at least once a week) you might also need to travel/attend events outside of your regular working hours.
