We are currently recruiting for a
Kitchen Assistant to be a part of our integral team at
Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst GU15 4PQ

5 days over 7 (including roughly 2 weekends a month)
Full time hours per week
Shifts ranging between 6am 9pm

What you'll be doing

Required to be flexible according to business requirements.

The daily focus may vary, however it is expected that activities will typically include the following:

Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
Food handling and basic cold food preparation
Take deliveries
Setting up counters and cleaning all areas front and back of house
Restocking items and stock rotation
Operating the till and cash handling
Client focus providing excellent customer service at all times
General cleaning of front and back of house
Sweeping/Mopping and general house keeping to ensure areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times.
Preparation of any other public facing areas as required
Undertake relevant training as required of all aspects of the role, including working towards your Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health and Safety Level 2 qualifications.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full on the job training will be provided
A good level of spoken English
A positive attitude and a hard worker
An enhanced DBS check is required
