We are currently supporting a Client based in Portsmouth, who specialises in transport and freight services. Our Client is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.As an Operations Coordinator you will be reporting to the General Manager and Freight supervisor and your responsibilities will include:
- Providing operational and administrative support
- Raising paperwork and ensuring all correct paperwork is received from customers and that their details are correct
- Liaising with customers regarding their collection and delivery dates and making sure they are provided with accurate information
- Dispatching deliveries to customers and updating them on their tracking and any potential delays
- Great organisation skills
- Be IT literate and competent with Microsoft
- Hold good administrative experience
- Be a good team worker and support colleagues
- Hold transport or logistics experience
