The Role:
This Silver Circle law firm is looking to hire a Corporate Energy Associate 2 years PQE to join its highly-ranked team in the City of London.
In this role you will advise on M&A, Corporate Finance and commercial energy transactions within the Energy sector.
The firm's Energy Environment & Infrastructure lawyers are both commercial and innovative.
The role will involve significant client contact making you a crucial person within the team and benefit from progression faster than in a role where this is not the case.

Responsibilities
You will be working in conjunction with a partner on private M&A clean tech/energy transactions (including many with cross-border elements) and infrastructure transactions, including work on commercial contracts such as JVs, PPAs and JDAs.
On top of this, you will:
- Liaise with other departments in the firm on transactions and obtaining advice from overseas counsel on cross-border transactions.
- Draft and negotiate documents to help clients achieve their business goals
- Manage matters and reviewing work of more junior team members.
- Manage and develop existing client relationships with the relevant partner and actively get involved in marketing/business development work.
Requirements:

2 PQE with England and Wales Solicitor qualification
- Relevant Energy commercial sector, M&A and Corporate Finance experience gained from a city, international or regional practice.
