Job Summary:

Job Title: Motor Mechanic.
Salary: £30,000 (depending on experience + qualifications).
Location: Ponteland, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE20 9TN.
Full Time and Permanent
Monday to Friday am5.30 pm (no weekends).

Our client is a family-owned well respected independent garage that has been trading for over 80 years by 3 generations of the same family.

Our client is a class 4 MOT station and performs a wide variety of services and repairs on a range of vehicles.

They are now actively looking to recruit a qualified

Motor Vehicle Technician/Mechanic for their garage in

Ponteland.

As a qualified Vehicle Technician, you will be at the very heart of our customer experience, keeping them on the road so they can get safely from A to B and taking great pride in a job well done.

Working with a talented team, you'll repair, service, and care for all kinds of vehicles - identifying faults, making improvements, keeping accurate records, and meeting demanding quality and safety standards.

Working to MOT and manufacturer standards, you'll focus on delivering customer satisfaction and public safety as you minimize costs for the customer.

Requirements:

A qualified MOT Tester would be ideal but it is not essential.
Previous vehicle technician experience in a busy garage is essential.
A full and Valid driving license is essential.

Our client is also happy to consider someone who is a qualified MOT Tester and is happy to do mainly MOT Tests and some Light Vehicle Maintenance or someone who is Level 2/Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
