The Opportunity:
The Intelligent Communities Lifecycle (ICL) Operations Team sits at the core of the organisation, providing technical support to external clients with the primary aim of enabling new users to successfully utilise the ICL within their business.
The ICL is a suite of digital twin technology that facilitates the planning, design and operation and optimisation of energy efficient and sustainable cities, communities, campuses, portfolios, buildings and local energy networks.
Typical duties that the ICL Operations Team perform:
- Provide practical advice and operational support to enable partners and customers to utilise the ICL within their business
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers to provide technical support for client meetings, bids, demos and workshops
- Responsible for coordinating technical support and training of partners and customers
- Collect and collate customer feedback to allow rapid development of essential features
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide technical support with marketing material and website content
- Prepare and deliver webinars to support targeted campaigns
- Collect and collate market intelligence for use across the business
Essential Skills:
- Minimum of two years' relevant experience
- Awareness of issues surrounding the decarbonisation of the built environment
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to write technical reports to high quality
- Assertive communicator who is confident in front of clients
- Experience using IES VE or other energy modelling software
- Awareness of digital technologies across the construction sector
- Knowledge of voluntary environmental rating schemes such as LEED, BREEAM, NABERS etc.
