The Warehouse and logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the warehouse operations and ensure the safety, efficiency and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and optimising warehouse processes.


Responsibilities include:

  • To lead by example and ensure you and the team uphold and adhere to all Health and Safety and Food Safety culture requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to optimise safety, productivity and minimise costs.
  • Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to plan inventory levels accordingly.
  • Implement and maintain a robust warehouse management system to track inventory and streamline operations.
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage relationships with logistics providers, negotiate contracts, and monitor service levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management and logistics, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Detailoriented with a keen attention to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
