SEN Teaching assistant to help provide the very best educational experience so all our students can reach their full potential as they become responsible and proactive members of the community. Working with our client school, you will be supporting pupils who may be a little more vulnerable and who that are working at or around age equivalent expectations and have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum condition (ASC), anxiety or Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).

The role requires;

The commitment to treat every child as an individual and recognize the potential of each and every pupil to help them overcome barriers and allow them to flourish both personally and academically.
Various behaviour management techniques to rely upon as well as a solid understanding of resources and schemes of work to use.
An imaginative and forwardthinking approach and drive to create memorable experiences and safe spaces both in and out of classroom settings.
Supporting the Class Teacher in all areas of the daytoday running of the class
Providing learning support for pupils in both group and 1:1 settings

You must;

Have the right to work in the UK

The successful applicant may also receive Team Teach training funded by GSL Education - this course usually costs £300.
