Cost Verification & Audit Manager 3-4 days a week
The?Cost Verification & Audit Manager is responsible for carrying out verification and audit assurance activities as directed by the MEH Cost Verification & Audit Lead on the MEH Alliance contract.
There?is?a critical and significant interface with HPC Partners and Contractors so that the costs included within their Application for Payments can be reviewed, verified, certified and subsequently audited.
The Cost Verification & Audit Manager supports ensuring that the costs claimed by the Contractors are in accordance with the contracts' Schedule of Cost Components and Alliance/NNB policies and procedures.
The Cost Verification & Audit Manager will also be involved in audit activities to MEH contracts, JV nominated, Strategic and other suppliers contracts.
What will you be doing?
- Undertake cost verification and audit duties and deliverables
- Perform pre and post Application for Payment (AfP) verification checks and reports, and ensure required adjustments are incorporated into the Partners and Contractors' submissions
- Liaising with Partners and Contractors Commercial Audit Support resource to complete quarterly, annual, and final account audit requirements and reports
- Support and manage the PAAF (Personnel Assignment Authority Form) review, verification, and approval process in accordance with the contracts' requirements
- Assist the MEH Cost Verification & Audit Lead in collation of data and production of reports to complete and report KPIs for the APAF Dashboard
- Managing & maintaining the Non-Recoverable Cost and Commercial Sensitive Cost registers
What are we looking for?
Accountancy and/or Quantity surveyance experience and knowledge of 'what good looks like' based on knowledge gained from partners and supply chain organisations integrated management systems;
Educated to tertiary level and either working towards or obtained a CCAB and/or QSi qualification.
Experience of working within a large, complex and multidisciplinary companies/projects, construction being an advantage and Ability and willingness to travel, primarily within the United Kingdom
