We are looking to recruit a PART-TIME Maths, English,11+, SATs, and GCSE tutor for our First Class Learning - Reading West Tuition Centre (RG30).

First Class Learning (FCL) supports children in the local community with Maths and English tuition. We cater for primary (KS1, KS2 and 11 plus) and secondary (KS3, KS4 and GCSE) students, 4-16 years old. FCL offers British programmes, aligned to the National Curriculum in Maths and English

This role involves tutoring Maths and English to groups of up to 6-8 children of mixed ages (between 4-16 years old), abilities and learning needs.

No two learning sessions would look the same as children will work on different topics in our Reading West FCL centre.

Education:

• Have obtained at least a Grade B or above in GCSE Maths and English (required). Grade A* in GCSE would be preferred.
• A-Level or equivalent

Salary:

- £9.50 per hour


Schedule:

• Every Saturday am 1.45 pm (2.5 hours)

Essential Skills & Attributes Required:

• Be able to commit for the next academic year (2023/24).
• Have a clear understanding of the UK Maths and English National Curriculum
• You must be able to speak English fluently
• Build strong relationships with pupils and give tuition progress reports and feedback
• Must be able to travel to students' home for taking assessments. This will count as additional working hours and you will be paid as per our hourly rate.

Location:

• You MUST be living in or around Reading

You will be asked to provide the following:
