Description

Solution 47 Recruitment have a 3 month assignment in Saffron Walden for a Buyer to join our client working 4.5 days per week pm Monday to Thurs and 9-1 on a Friday.

Our client may consider part time hours for the right applicant.

Ideally you will have some experience in a previous Puchasing/Buyer position


Duties will include:
Administration support for Purchasing and Supply chain


DIMENSIONS
You will report to the material's supervisor as part of the site Operational team on a direct basis.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
To raise and expedite Purchase Orders in accordance with the Business needs, purchasing procedures and ethical purchasing policy.

To ensure that anything purchased is supported by a correctly completed and authorised requisition and purchase order, to facilitate accurate and timely Purchased and Accounts data, whilst providing an audit trail

To ensure that all purchased stock information and records are maintained, to facilitate the efficient and economical supply of materials to both production and Non-Production departments


To ensure that the MRP purchasing demand is maintained on a day-to-day basis and records are kept up to date.


To liaise closely with the Material supervisor and relevant departmental senior management, thereby ensuring any Local or group buying agreements are aggregated and incorporated into project agreements or contracts, where viable.
