- Accurately processing invoices and making payments in a timely manner.
- Maintaining and updating supplier records within the finance system.
- Resolving invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Liaising with suppliers and resolving any payment queries.
- Assisting in monthly and yearly accounts payable closure.
- Collaborating with the purchasing department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Providing support to other members of the accounting team as required.
The Successful Applicant:
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- A strong foundation in Accounting and Finance.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problemsolving.
