Credit Controller - 3m FTC - German speaking would be highly beneficial

Location:
Didsbury, Manchester

Pay:
£25,000 - £27,000 (hourly rate equivalent) DOE

I am working with an award-winning international company based in Didsbury, Manchester to appoint a Credit Controller for a FTC basis for a 3 month period.

**Key Responsibilities / Duties:

**:

Responsible for credit control of two overseas entities.
Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
Prepare and issue customer statements.
Credit risk assessments for existing customers (identifying potential risks and informing the relevant stakeholders).
Working with client procurement departments to obtain purchase orders in a timely manner to enable prompt invoicing.
Weekly and monthly debtor reporting to line manager and Directors.
Daily posting of cash to accounts receivable system.
Working with sales and finance departments to resolve issues and disputes.
Account reconciliations.
Building relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
Liaising with Receivable Finance provider in a timely manner to resolve any issues and respond to queries.
Sales ledger to receivable finance ledger reconciliations.

Personal Attributes:

At least 12 months experience in a Credit Control/Sales Ledger role
Experience of working with international clients and multicurrency ledgers.
Good use of IT, including Excel and accounting systems
Good attention to detail.
Strong influencing and negotiating skills and able to manage stakeholders and understand their requirements.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively written and verbally.
Strong planning, organisation skills and timemanagement, consistently delivers to agreed deadlines.
Proactive and tenacious.
