Overtime: Available (1.5 x hourly rate)

My client is recruiting a Welder to work in their high-quality factory.

The role involves batch production of welded steel and stainless steel components. These parts are used in the assembly of manual and powered manual handling machines.

Main purpose of role:

Supply our customers with 'bestinclass' manual handling products.
Assist to increase the level of output from our fabrication/welding department.
Communicate with team members and add to a strong dynamic team.

Key tasks and skills:

Fabricate batches of welded steel (MIG) and stainless steel (TIG) components at the direction of the department supervisor.
Produce batches of welded components with a high attention to detail ensuring parts match the engineering drawings provided.
Ability to read technical drawings and weld symbols.
Where required prepare metal for fabrication (i.e. metal cutting, drilling and folding).

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£13.00-£16.00 per hour
