Account Manager Job in Christchurch


Our client based in Christchurch is a leading online solutions business where their headquarters are in Christchurch, and they also have operations in the USA and Europe.

We are recruiting for an Account Manager on behalf of our client to join their business.

The Account Manager role is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow existing customer accounts through the delivery of competent and efficient sales and building strong customer relationships.

This is a great chance for an experienced salesperson to createexciting opportunities using value-based selling methodology, selling the key capabilities and solutions that our client offers.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop account plans for their customer portfolio and robust business development pipeline aligned to the sales strategy
  • Manage the daytoday relationship with customers, providing the link between internal and external stakeholders
  • You will delight in being the advocate for the customer internally, working proactively with colleagues to resolve customer issues and develop new solutions and opportunities
  • Line management responsibility for Account Executive, supporting you in resolving customer queries and developing new business
  • Complete reports, such as visit reports, SLA reporting, sales projections, and forecasts.

Skills and Experience:


  • You will love getting stuck into the detail, building strong client relationships, and thriving on accurate delivery
  • You will have the ability to think creatively and be able to work collaboratively to find the most effective way of getting the job done
  • Desirable experience in sales analysis, CRM, and assessing client's businesses in helping take cost out and adding value
  • Desirable experience in logistics/fulfilment environments
  • Can demonstrate success in identifying, approaching, and winning new business at commercially acceptable levels to the business

Salary and Benefits

  • A salary of £35,000 £40,000 depending on experience
