Quality Engineer

Job Specification:


  • Working closely with the production team to actively be involved with the testing of products and suggest actions to resolve and prevent any immediate quality issues before dispatch.
  • Support the manufacturing and design teams to identify and implement changes to improve product quality.
  • Develop work packages and procedures to assist the transition between design and manufacture.
  • Create sample approval packages for new parts and present for QM approval
  • Build good rapport with assigned suppliers making sure you communicate the needs of the business professionally to ensure the best response from the supplier.
  • Understand how nonconformances are transacted through the MRP system
  • Assist with the identification and routine calibration of gauges & instruments
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and auditing adherence to process flow charts covering nominated business processes

Quality Engineer

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:


  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment, in either an electro/mechanical assembly or precision CNC machining setting
  • Wellversed carrying out root cause analysis
  • Confident implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Able to speak with suppliers to ensure that the quality of their products is continuously improved and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner and without cost
  • Full UK driving licence
