Commercial Manager - Housing Association - About The Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a south Yorkshire based housing association who are looking to appoint a permanent Commercial Manager.

The role offers a salary of £47,573 - £52,573 per annum.

This position offers flexible and agile working,with a requirement to be in the office only 2 days per week maximum.


CommercialManager - Housing Association - About The Role:

  • To oversee a team of 1
  • Architects, Senior Quantity Surveyors, Surveyors, Assistant Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Clerks of Works officers, Commercial Officers, and Administration staff
  • Lead on the development of schemes of works that includes collation of preconstruction information, development of conceptual and technical designs and subsequent specifications. Oversee the scheme delivery, contract and commercial management and act asclient advisor/representative
  • Responsible for cost management and ensuring all contracted works and services offer value for money and deliver the outcomes and standards required
  • Play a wider part of the Senior Management team, getting involved in corporate strategies and operational issues including budget and performance management

Commercial Manager - Housing Association - What You Need:

  • Have a proven track record in commercial and construction large scale projects
  • CIOB or RICS Membership, or willing to work towards this
  • Experience and knowledge of dispute resolution
  • Experience and a track record of leading a team within large projects
