We are currently seeking Trainee Cover Supervisors who are either looking to gain classroom experience across a variety of school settings before embarking on their teacher training or have previous experience of working with groups of children or young people.

We have a variety of short-term, long-term, and permanent opportunities in secondary schools across Worksop and the surrounding areas.

_ Please note that experience is not necessary as full training will be provided
_

The role of a Cover Supervisor -

To provide classroom supervision in the event of the teacher being absent
Make sure classrooms are kept tidy
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Report any potential safeguarding concerns
Proactively make sure pupils are learning and engaged

You will need to -

Have a passion to work with young people
Be able to work with students in a calm but authoritative manner
Be flexible

Typical School hours are 8.30am-3.30pm. Any variance to this will be confirmed by your consultant prior to your assignment. We do also get requests for part days too if this is something you would be interested in.
