Location - All Gloucestershire Sites (Stroud, Kemble and Lechlade)

Hours of Work - Full Time

Monday to Friday

9:00am - 5:30pm

Do you have some experience in either warehousing/maintenance and would like to learn and develop your skill set further? Are you passionate about making our sites the best they can be? If have an opportunity for a Trainee Maintenance Assistant & to join our small and friendly Racking and Maintenance Team.

Key Responsibilities:

To carry out appropriate maintenance repair work and ensure the appropriate PPE is worn.
To follow all planned preventative maintenance work as instructed by the Racking & Maintenance Manager.
To support the Racking & Maintenance Manager and Racking & Maintenance Operative with some lifting and general works when the erecting/constructing and collapsing/dismantling of all the racking within the warehouses is being completed.
To ensure the correct and safe use of various tools including power tools
To safely operate any equipment used in our warehouses, pump trucks/forklifts.
To be able to maintain a clean, tidy and safe workspace.

Experience & Attributes needed:

Previous experience of assisting with maintenance or repair work would be advantageous or work experience in a Warehouse environment.
Strong communication skills.
Ideally some experience of working with Power Tools.
Attention to detail and accuracy skills.
Own Transport and valid licence essential due to the remote area of our sites.
Fork Lift licence preferred, but not essential.
