Senior Embodied Carbon / Life Cycle Specialist

£45k-£60k

Responsibilities:


  • Undertake Life Cycle Analysis and Cost Analysis using OneClick LCA for reporting against policy and certification requirements
  • Undertake embodied carbon calculations and develop Net Zero Carbon Strategies
  • Prepare Sustainability, Whole Life Carbon, and Circular Economy Statements
  • Provide technical support to the design team in achieving embodied carbon reduction targets
  • Assist in developing and implementing embodied carbon reduction strategies
  • Work closely with façade and structural engineers on projects
  • Analyse the environmental impact of materials, products, and systems
  • Provide expert advice on sustainability issues, embodied carbon, and life cycle assessment to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:


  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of OneClick LCA, embodied carbon, life cycle assessment, circular economy, and sustainability principles
  • Experience in developing Net Zero Carbon Strategies
  • Experience working with façade and structural engineers is desirable
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental science, engineering, architecture, or related fields)
