Senior Embodied Carbon / Life Cycle Specialist

£45k-£60k

Responsibilities:

Undertake Life Cycle Analysis and Cost Analysis using OneClick LCA for reporting against policy and certification requirements
Undertake embodied carbon calculations and develop Net Zero Carbon Strategies
Prepare Sustainability, Whole Life Carbon, and Circular Economy Statements
Provide technical support to the design team in achieving embodied carbon reduction targets
Assist in developing and implementing embodied carbon reduction strategies
Work closely with façade and structural engineers on projects
Analyse the environmental impact of materials, products, and systems
Provide expert advice on sustainability issues, embodied carbon, and life cycle assessment to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of OneClick LCA, embodied carbon, life cycle assessment, circular economy, and sustainability principles
Experience in developing Net Zero Carbon Strategies
Experience working with façade and structural engineers is desirable
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental science, engineering, architecture, or related fields)
