- emissions, carbon-free industry. Join us and make it happen**Under the direction of the CSI (Cargo Superintendent),this role is responsible for ensuring all vessel and stevedoring operations are carried out safely, efficiently and on time.


As part of the Vessel Services team you'll be expected to provide an excellent service to all customers and stakeholders.


Job Description:


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Ensure all KPI's are accomplished, meeting Carrier's cargo handling procedures, achieving units per hour, all cargo is loaded/discharged and ensuring vessel sailing time is met
  • Deliver preshift Toolbox Talks
  • Manage cost effective control of all staff allocated to your vessel
  • Code and authorise supplier invoices
  • Proactively manage and reduce labour costs on vessels by using an agile approach
  • Ensure completion of all vessel related documentation/activities within the stated timeframes
  • Engage and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless vessel operations
  • Deputise for the CSI as required

Job Requirements:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Meet changing priorities and business needs in a positive and flexible manner
  • Able to problem solve to overcome challenges in a dynamic working environment
  • Meticulous and data driven high level of data input accuracy is essential
  • Experienced Team Leader
  • Experience of stevedore/Vessel services activities and port cargo handling techniques
  • Excellent communiation skills
  • Computer literate
  • Full clean driving license
