Description

QA/QC/Welding Inspector


The job is to be part of a proactive, efficient, positive, family run management team, where everyone pulls their weight.

We are a small team so everyone is hands on and communication is key.

The job involves but not limited to:

  • Pressure vessel inspection.
  • Weld procedures and qualifications keeping up to date, making sure jobs allocated to correct welders.
  • Consumables storage, allocation, ordering.
  • Matl certs, checking, filing.
  • Databooks/ paperwork for Notified Body (NOBO) & client (normally same docs), ITPs etc.
  • NDE organising and paperwork.
  • Third party (NOBO)
- organising and liaising with.

  • Calibration.
  • Audits: internal and external.


  • Quality system

  • ISO.
  • Technical assistance for shop floor and office.
  • Customer complaints and non conformities.
  • Liaising with clients on technical and quality issues/queries etc.
  • Review drawings/calcs where required.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£40,000.00-£60,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
