Role / Team Overview:


The Institutional Credit Management (ICM) group is looking for Senior Product Development Manager to join its Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) function, focusing on the design and management of a comprehensive exposure reporting toolset for the FO business.

ICMhas been established with the objective to provide an integrated "end-to-end" credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.

ICM coordinates with credit management groups across ICG businesses to ensure full alignment on business and regulatory goals, as well as consistency and best practices.

The CCR Product Development team within ICM is responsible for building tools to a) provide in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve business problems and develop new, innovative solutions b) build tools to help measure, monitor and control counterpartyrisk for institutional clients and c) portfolios and businesses, with a focus on counter-party and collateral risk to ensure the risks are being properly measured and controlled in accordance with the Firm's risk policies.


Responsibilities:


  • Primarily responsible for the delivery of comprehensive exposure metrics to FO business and risk stakeholders who manage distressed entities and monitor developing adverse situations.
  • The developer will spent significant amount time on CCR Data quality working with FO business and technology to remediate issues.
  • Responsible for discovery, design, development, and testing of multiple projects within CCR; including redesign of existing processes and implementation of technology solutions for CCR OTC.

Qualifications:


  • Significant experience with people management experience
  • Deep data knowledge in Front office Valuation, Margin, Settlement for OTC Derivatives, some knowledge of SFTs would be advantageous
  • Prior product development experience preferred.
  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills by working with Technology
  • Excellent in building professional relationships with staff and clients.
  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing in a large and complex business
  • Intellectual curiosity, analytical and conceptual thinker
  • Proactively seeks and develops new opportunities
  • Thorough financial acumen and P&L management experience
  • Excellent analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills

Education:


  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
