Responsibilities:

  • Work permit/we do not provide sponsor.
  • Driver's licence
  • UK experience in live in care
  • Friendly and professional with long term plan to bring their partner.


The role involves a trial during weekends (Friday night to Monday morning) before starting fully on live in once clients are happy and comfortable.


  • Provide care and support to individuals in need, including seniors and those with disabilities or medical conditions
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living spaces
  • Implement behavior management strategies for clients with challenging behaviors
  • Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses and doctors, to ensure the wellbeing of clients

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a carerelated role is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of medication administration and first aid procedures
  • Familiarity with hospice care principles and practices
  • Understanding of behavior management techniques for individuals with challenging behaviors
  • Ability to provide compassionate care to seniors and individuals with disabilities or medical conditions
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
