Nestled in the green rolling hills of South Devon, the serene and stunningly beautiful Langdon Court is reinventing the country house hotel experience with unparalleled dining, glorious gardens, luxurious accommodation, and stylish exclusivity as its inspiration.

Built-in the 16th century, Langdon Court was a family home for the Calmady family who owned the property for 300 years.

This unique building has been lovingly restored over the past 2 years to become the ultimate getaway location within the southwest.

We are focusing our energies on creating bespoke and exclusive events for our clientele.

With events ranging from weddings to shooting parties to corporate retreats, Langdon wants to provide luxury and comfort to anyone who walks through our doors.

As head of housekeeping at Langdon Court, your role will mean you are responsible for the cleaning of the houses bedrooms, and shared areas for our guests.

Your part can vary from room turnarounds to laundering linen for the rooms, disposal of waste, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Daily duties will include:

• Hoovering & mopping
• Dusting & cleaning
• Waste disposal
• Room turndowns or changes
• Arranging bedrooms for new guests
• Daily bathroom cleans
• Assisting with laundry
• Maintaining bedroom inventory
• Reporting any damage or safety issues

We are looking for our potential team member to have a keen eye for detail, someone who takes pride in their high standards and knows what areas can be improved upon.

With high clientele expecting levels of service that cannot be found anywhere else, we require someone with energy and enthusiasm for what they do.

This role will be an on-site position from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends depending on the bookings for the week.

Hours can be flexible, with the role requesting 40 hours a week as well as potential on-site accommodation for our employee upon discussion.
