Description

To access paperwork and other material the role will require some travel between the three restaurants located just outside Hayle and Porthleven.

• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software Xero
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
• Handle payroll processing and related tax filings
• Support the preparation of tax returns.

• Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
