This is an exciting opportunity to join our bank team and work as a
Young persons
bank support worker in
Derby or the Burton on Trent area supporting young people in a children residential care & school setting.


About the role and Client

  • An SEN Ofsted Graded 'Good' SEN school in
    BURTON ON TRENT and in DERBY which provides education and residential care for primary and secondary pupils.
  • Supporting pupils age 519 on a 1:1 basis
  • Flexible shifts Monday to Sunday,(7.15 am
  • 4pm/ 1.30pm 10pm or waking night shifts available, double shifts available)

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Working 1:1 with individual pupils with ASD, speech, social and associated complex needs
  • Supporting pupils within the care home and classroom
  • Assisting in personal care duties where required
  • Supporting SEN pupils who sometimes demonstrate challenging behaviour
  • You should ideally hold a relevant Health & Social care or childcare qualification and have support experience/ childcare experience.

£85.00-£147.00 per day
