Our client is looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk reporting to the Head of Finance on a temporary basis.
The purpose of the role is to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.Client Details

For the successful Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk, there is the opportunity for this role to become a permanent position.
100% Office Based in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
Description
Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk key responsibilities:
- Ensure supplier invoices are processed
- Supervise the purchase ledger clerks
- Develop and implement new systems to ensure the efficiency of the purchase ledger
- Ensure processing of signed and coded invoices
- Oversee reconciliations of supplier statements
- Request missing invoices or credit notes
- Resolve queries by suppliers
- Oversee invoice filing systems
- Additional adhoc duties that may be required
Profile
The successful Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk:
- Good communication skills
- Experience of working within a finance team
- Good organisation skills
- Experience working with Excel
- Experience working as a purchase ledger clerk
