Our client is looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk reporting to the Head of Finance on a temporary basis.

The purpose of the role is to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.

100% Office Based in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Description

Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk key responsibilities:

  • Ensure supplier invoices are processed
  • Supervise the purchase ledger clerks
  • Develop and implement new systems to ensure the efficiency of the purchase ledger
  • Ensure processing of signed and coded invoices
  • Oversee reconciliations of supplier statements
  • Request missing invoices or credit notes
  • Resolve queries by suppliers
  • Oversee invoice filing systems
  • Additional adhoc duties that may be required

Profile

The successful Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk:

  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of working within a finance team
  • Good organisation skills
  • Experience working with Excel
  • Experience working as a purchase ledger clerk
